The Jefferson County Board of Education Student Recognition Meeting

Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019

One Jefferson Logo with Nickel

The Jefferson County Board of Education held a special meeting to recognize students from across the school system for outstanding achievements. Jefferson County Schools encourages students to be well rounded, and understands that achieving excellence is not limited to good grades alone. Students were recognized for excellence in academics, athletics, and other extracurricular activities. Board members joined administrators, staff, families, and community members to celebrate the work that students have done in the first part of the year and welcome the opportunity to help them celebrate those accomplishments.

Jefferson County Schools would like to extend a special thank you to the Ranson Civic Center for hosting the event! It is a wonderful community gathering space with a dedicated staff. We could not have done this without their support.
